The Centre
There is a building right in the heart of Chiswick with a well-equipped gym, martial arts studio, sound studio, café / kitchen area and two large halls (one with a stage, the other with a basket-ball court marked out) both with flooring perfect for dancing or yoga or a range of other recreational activities. And it is here on the Glebe Estate.
The main purpose of the Centre is to offer young people in the local community a safe place to come and participate in a range of activities. Some of the rooms and facilities are also available to license on a regular basis or for one off events.
The Centre is situated at the south end of Duke Road and is located between The William Hogarth School and St Mary’s Catholic Primary school.
The building in which the centre is located was built in 1884 as the Hogarth Infants School and continued in that use until 1991. The Centre then became a youth club run by the Hounslow Borough. However, at the beginning of 2019, because of budget cuts, Hounslow passed responsibility for the youth services to the Hogarth Charitable Trust Company Limited – a registered charity - which now manages Chiswick’s only Youth Centre.

In addition to its charitable activities for the youth of Chiswick and surrounding areas, the Centre also provides space for a wide range of activities for all ages.
Youth Activities
The youth activities are run by the Charity’s brilliant Youth Leader, Denny Anthony. In 2019 over 275 young people visited the Centre over 4,000 times.
Activities are held during term time in afternoon and evening sessions Mondays to Thursdays. Programmes are also run during half term and the longer holidays with special off-site residential breaks for those children who would not be able to get away during the summer holidays.
The Centre provides all comers a warm environment to chill out with friends in a relaxed and safe manner thereby helping to develop their social skills.
